Opt Out
I just want to be clear. I had a contact that opted out. My understanding is that even though they are in my database with a group tag, my email's will not be sent to them. I just want to make sure that I'm not sending anything to them or do I need to delete completely out of database or remove group tags.

Hello Kent,
When a contact opts out of your email campaigns they are removed from the server level of emarketing. You can keep the contact in your group, but they will be excluded from receiving the email campaign you send to that particular group.

Hello Kent,
Thank you for contacting Act! Cloud.You can remove the contact from all groups, it will stay as a contact without a group and you won’t be able to send to contacts without a group. Or you can make a new group, named opt-outs and not send E-marketing to that group.
