How to Fix Google Drive Not Downloading, Google Drive Support.
Google Drive Not Downloading
If you have a Google account, Google Drive provides 15GB of free storage. You'll receive much more if you purchase a membership. No matter how many files you save to Google Drive, the idea is that you can access them from anywhere, at any time, on any device.
Although Google Drive usually works as expected, there are instances when it will just not download what you want. There are a number of causes for this, some of which are more straightforward to handle than others.
What Can I Do If Google Drive Isn’t Downloading?
If you have a Google account, you may use the Google Drive app to access Google Drive on your laptop, PC, or mobile device. The remedies to the Google Drive not downloading issue are generally the same across devices, although some are more specialised.
What to Do If Google Drive Doesn’t Download After Zipping?
A compressed file will be produced for your convenience when downloading many files from Google Drive to your device. However, in rare occasions, while creating the Zip file, Drive becomes stuck. You'll see "Preparing Download" for a long, but nothing will happen. Select "Leave the site" when prompted to do so. Another trick is to shut the browser tab by clicking the "X" and then selecting "Leave."
A pop-up box will appear, urging you to save the Zip file to your computer rather than losing it totally. This only happens if the file has previously been prepared but there was a delay. If it doesn't work, you'll have to start over.
