ACT! 10 to Excel Export
Brittany was kind enough to furnish the following link instructing how to export ACT 10 to Excel. https://actcloud1.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202158365 I followed the instructions faithfully until I was stymied by item # 8. I couldn't find "other calendars" anywhere. Can someone PLEASE help me. I am not particularly computer savvy, so I need meticulous help. Please don't direct me to do something that YOU know how to do or find, because I assure you I do NOT. Thanks.

Hello Barry,
Thank you for your post.
I am working on getting directions for Outlook 365 iCal integration. We make our Knowledge base articles step by steps as to make the task as simple as possible. I will post an update for you when I have the new article.Thank you,
Act! Cloud Team -
Thank you so much. Let me clarify my original question since I even managed to confuse myself. The integration I seek beween my old ACT! 10, Excel, and ACT! Cloud is actually TWO things. First, I'd like a way to easily import/export data to Act! Cloud. But also, and more importantly, I seek to integrate Act! Cloud with Outlook Calendars in terms of automatic scheduled reminder and "ticklers", which for me was the main benefit of ACT 10 which I sorely miss In ACT! Cloud. I need LOTS of help completing both task, if you please. Thanks!

Hi Barry,
I want to also clarify I understand.
1. You need instructions on how to export contacts from Act! 10 to Excel
2. You need instructions on how to import the Excel sheet to Act! Cloud
3. You need instructions to integrate the Act! Cloud Calendar to the Outlook CalendarI just want to double check I get you all the right documentation.
Thank you,
Act! Cloud Team -
Brittany, you are exactly correct on all points. Thank you SO much. I'd like to add that I am extremely happy so far with the ACT! Cloud product, and particularly with the excellent caring support by obviously dedicated people like Brittany. She certainly has my vote! I think with support people like this, the product is going to get better and better In the very near term.

Hello Barry,
Please follow the link provided as it explains how to integrate your Act! Cloud iCal to Outlook.com

Brittany, I opened the link and attempted to follow instructions. Unfortunately, we're back to square 1 again. As I mentioned previously, just because YOU know where something is or what something means, please rest assured I do not. Item # 7 states "on the top left corner click the square icon, click calenders". I have no clue what top left square icon is, could not locate it. I DID click Calendars at the bottom of the screen, which I assumed is what you meant. Item 8 states "on the top menu click import". There is no import command on the top, or anywhere else on the screen that I can see. I think the problem is that we're not on the same page as far as what Outlook screens look like. I have an Outlook 365 subscription, NOT Outlook software installed on the computer. Does that make a difference? If not, I'm going to need screen shots accompanying your instructions to show me exactly what icons you are referring to, and where they are located. Sorry.

Hi Barry,
From the outlook 365 website it looks as though your Outlook client is similar to the Outlook 2013 desktop version. Please try this second article, the first one I provided was for Outlook.com.

Received your revised link. This is the roadblock we ended up on two days ago. Item 8 "right click on Other Calendars". Can't find Other Calendars anywhere. Exactly where is it? I see iCloud calendars and my calendars on the left side, but no Other Caledars. Completely stumped.
-
OK, we've made some progress....sort of I figured out for myself how to find "other calendars", "add calendar", paste the link, and so forth, which I have completed. Now, among my other Outlook calendars, I now see "ACT calendar", which is the name I gave it. The only problem is, I'm not sure exactly what I have accomplished, i.e. what the point of the task is or was. The new Act calendar in Oulook is completely blank. What is supposed to be happening here. Am I supposed to see task generated in ACT! on my ACT Outook calendar? Or vice-versa? I assumed reminders generated in ACT Cloud would be automatically integrated into the new Outlook Act Calendar....is that right? If so, how do I product tasks/reminders/ticklers etc in Act Cloud so that they may be seen in Outlook Act calendar? As you can see, I am TOTALLY confused.
