We are looking forward for your support regarding integration of our application with   Act! 365.

 

What we mean by integrating our application with ACT 365?

 

We want to customize ACT 365 where we can have a extra button or capability to launch our web application inside the ACT 365.

 

How it will work?

 

So once the user will login into ACT 365, and click on this extra button, it should launch our application.

 

Description of application

 

This application is like any normal web application with a UI with dimension 700×246 px.

 

Few questions:

 

If possible, whether we have an option in ACT 365 to write our own HTML/CSS/SCRIPT file and upload into it?

 

Or ACT 365 already have the capability to launch any external application within by configuring URL of that application in crm?

  Good Afternoon Lipika,

  Thank you for creating a thread on the Act! 365 success centre.

  I understand that you want to create a button within Act! 365 to launch an external application.

  The program unfortunately does not have a programmable UI (User interface) The layout of the software is not configurable in any way I am afraid. Our other products in the portfolio such as Act! Pro or Act! Premium do provide this functionality but I am afraid that Act! 365 being our entry level product does not provide this as a function.

  Although you can communicate with the Act! 365 database via the API, I am not sure that you could use the API to launch the application either.

  I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news for this one but I think it best to to frank and let you know that I wouldn't know a way of achieving what you are trying to achieve I am afraid.

  Act! Premium has an APi that is configurable.

  However I do not support this on this forum.
