Edit text mode doesn't always work, why???

Trying to edit text in the body of a press release and it will not allow me. Block is text block & so don't understand why the text options box will not appear on occasion! Is there a trick to this I don't know about. I've come out of edit mode and returned to layout mode and back to edit text but still nothing. very frustrating, please help ASAP as need to send communication today! thanks

  Hi Iain,

  Can you please confirm if when you are editing your template you have clicked the A icon from the top right corner to enable Text edit mode?
