Can't delete a group

    Hi Katie,

     

    Thank you for contacting the Act! 365 Team. I'm sorry to hear you've experienced a problem with the Act! 365 platform.

    When you were originally creating the group, I am going to assume that you had selected multiple contacts, then selected 'Add to Group'

    Was it at this point that Act! crashed? Can you confirm that you just relaunched the browser and you were able to use the service again.

    It is very strange that you repeatedly got the issue when attempting to create the group.

    If you can click or highlight the group you wish to delete. Then click the edit button from the top right corner.

    You should then be able to click delete from the bottom left corner to remove the group in question.

    If you are unable to do so, if you could provide the names of the groups you wish to remove and I will have the engineers take a look and see if we can remove them for you.

    Hi Cam,

    Thanks for your response.

    I think I was creating the group and then I was going to add members. 

    There is no option to delete the group.  There is nothing but an orange Error message.  There is no option to edit, delete, or anything.  

    I was creating the group but then it all froze, so I tried again and it happened three times.  Then, suddenly the groups I had tried to create all appeared at the same time.

    Shall I give you the group names?

    Hi Katie,

     

    The developers contacted me this morning. It seems we have discovered a strange defect in the program.

    If you create a group with the word "and" and you also use an apostrophe.

    For example.  

    "Dog and Cat's house" 

    So for now, if you can avoid using that combination. As far as I am aware an ampersand and apostrophe do not cause the issue.

    "Dog & Cat's house" would be fine.

    Engineers are looking into this bug. However, at this time I do not have an ETA on the fix.
