Integration with AT&T Softphone Call Manager
I use an AT&T phone system in my home office. The phone talks to my computer via USB and uses software called AT&T Softphone Call Manger.
I am trying to figure out a way to get Act Essentials to talk to this software to make phone calls without the need to export all my phone numbers out of Act and then import into AT&T softphone.
It seems that my only choices when I chick a contact phone number are Chrome, People, or Skype. I can't even figure out how to use those programs either.
Is there any way that I can point to my software instead?
Any clues will be appreciated.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for contacting Act! Essentials Support.
Unfortunately we do not offer a direct integration with any AT&T software. You may be able to use our API to integrate with the software but we would be unable to offer any support on doing so. I've included some information on our API below.
How do I access the API?

Hi Paul,
As Dan has already touched on this, unfortunately we are not developers ourselves. However, to integrate with Act! Essentials API it would be expected that you have knowledge of restful API if you are developing your own tool or speak to someone within your organisation that is a developer. The only help we can provide ourselves comes in the form of knowledgebase articles.
Other online sources such as stack overflow have a wealth of information on how to use an API.Regards,
