Mail Merge Issue
I'm testing a campaign and when I send the campaign to a couple test emails, I receive an error message when the template as the mail merge in it. It is sent fine, when there is no merge fields in the template. Can someone give me instructions to why I'm getting an error message.
Also, is there a way to use the custom fields for mail merge in template. I want to add a courtesy title (i.e, Mr. Ms. Dr.) along with last name.

Can you please confirm if you exit text mode on the template before saving? Can you send us the steps you use while editing the template when you receive the error?

I recreated it and it went through today. Sent to two test accounts.
The following are the steps I went through yesterday:
1) add field [[Last Name}}
2) go back to layout mode
3) save template (message that template was saved)
4) exit template
5) send campaign
5) identify template, identify group, name email, check antispam
6) send email screen
7) the sending notification would spin for about 30 seconds and come back with an error message.
When I went back and took out mail merge fields and saved template the email would send successfully.
