    Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for contacting Act! Cloud.

You are correct in regards to importing and exporting contact information as a .csv from both Act! Cloud and Act! Desktop.

In regards to importing of notes and history the request has been submitted as a feature request. Once the request is submitted the development team will add it to their future plans. Depending on what the current feature plans are the request may be pushed out.
For updates on what the development team has added and is currently working on please visit the Product Announcement section of the Community.

    Kind Regards,
    Act! Cloud Team

I wasted a few minutes determining there is nothing useful or helpful at Product Announcements about your development plans for this product.

I am a 20 year user of ACT and an independent professional. If you want us to take this product seriously you need to be more candid and detailed about whether you will soon be the ability to import all the features from ACT desktop and providing for synch capabilities.

Without the ability to import our entire ACT legacy, we might as well start with a new contact manager system, one not burdened with ACT history.

    Hello Rich,

I apologize for the confusion, but Act! Cloud is not intended to provide all of the same features as Act!. I think you will be more satisfied with Act! Hosted http://www.act.com/products/act-premium-hosted/, or if you wish to keep your current Act! database, but access it on mobile, Act! Premium Mobile might be for you http://www.act.com/products/mobility/act-premium-mobile/

Act! Cloud provides the core features of Act!, while Act! Hosted provides the full Act! feature set in a web environment, and Act! Premium Mobile connects your Act! Premium database to your mobile devices.

Again, I apologize for the confusion, but we do appreciate your commitment to Act!. Let me know if you’d like me to have a sales person reach out to you with more information.
