Importing of data from Excel to Act! 365
Hi,
I have tried repeatedly to import contacts from Excel documents into act 365! and have had issues. The Excel databases tend to be 6000 + contacts and when added, I either get only one contact shown unnamed or I get a number of contacts added but letters, numbers, and symbols instead of the data within the Excel sheet.
I have one Microsoft Excel comma separated file, which shows the one unnamed contact when importing.
The other three files are Microsoft Excel worksheets.
Any support would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for contacting the Act! 365 team.
Act! 365 Supports imports from a CSV file only. You would need to open the Excel spreadsheets and then save them as a CSV file before importing.
Once converted into a CSV file, you should then open the file in excel (Which is supported) and see what it looks like. You should have no merged columns, no rogue comma's appearing in the spreadsheet and the data that appears in the CSV file should then import into the database.
