Facebook not connecting

    Hi Andy,

     

    Thanks for reply to an older thread on the community. I have just tried to integrate my own facebook account in my Act! Essentials  database and I am getting the same error that you are getting. I have flagged this with the developer team.

    What should be happening is that the facebook page should launch where you are asked to authenticate and authorise the app to access facebook.

    I can see this is not happening and the error is thrown.

    This could be down to facebook changing something at their end and our devs need to address this.

    I'll update the case with further information as soon as I have it.

    Hi Rick,

    Thank you for your post. In order for you to view your contacts image via Facebook they will need to enable their app settings within Facebook itself.

    Which browser are you using on your iPhone?

    I don't understand - THEY have to enable the app? I'm using the Act! Essentials - not them.

    Safari on iPhone.

    I have the same problem....... I am gettingthis response from Facebook

    App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.
