importing Excel contacts
I am new to ACT essentials and have tried to import contacts from Excel per the instructions on ACT. However, nothing is importing.
Can someone help me with this? Thanks, Leigh

This post is more than an year old, but there are still difficulties with importing contacts from a csv-Excel-file.
- columns can not be selected (just 1 column appears to be selected)
- no data are imported, even if it reports xx data to be imported. Just 1 empty contact is created.
Thanks in advance for your advice on how to reliably import contacts from csv.

Thank you for your reply to this ticket. I understand that you emailed my colleague Susanne for the Ger Act! support team. Susanne and I will be replying to your email directly. It seems your import CSV has a semi colon separator but would require a comma instead.
