    Hi Ken,

    Thank you for your post.
    When importing contacts from Gmail the data fields for Company and Job Title do not merge over. I will share the request to the Act! Essentials team.
    You can export your contact from Gmail. After the contacts have been saved as a CSV file they can be imported and mapped correctly to your Act! Essentials account.

    Thanks, Brittany - seems somewhat odd that one of the key pieces of 'customer relationship' data is not moved across. Is what you are saying that I should delete what I moved across using your upload facility should be deleted and re-done manually? Or can I just prepare an upload file with name and the missing data, and upload that manually - without creating duplicate entries? Many thanks. Ken

    Hi Ken,

    You can upload the CSV to your Act! Essentials account. Contacts with the same First name, Last name, and email address will be merged allowing the company name to be added to the existing contact.
