Isn't there a way to know at a glance how many "oontacts" you have. know the old ACT used to identify each contact as, for example, 88 out of 956, or whatever

  Hi Barry,

  The contacts are not numbered in Act! Essentials. You can view how many contacts you have total or totally by group by clicking All Contacts or clicking the group title.
