How Duplicate Contact's

    Hi Michael,

    When a contact's are added if they have the same first name, last name and email address the account should be removing the second added contact to prevent duplication. Can you confirm if the contacts being added have all of the same data?

    To help save time I would recommend the team members that are adding the contact run quick check of the contacts email address, this will help ensure they are not using valuable time re entering an existing contact.

    Thanks for the prompt response Brittany.
    I just input 2 of the exact same contacts just to test the issue and it still is not removing the 2nd duplicated contact.

    When we first noticed the duplication, one of our leads was sent multiples of the same email by my team. We group new leads into a new lead group then send them their first email right away, then we remove them from the new leads group and put them what ever group fits them so I do not see how they would of received multiple emails when we send emails to groups, not specific contacts.
    I did advise them to run a quick search of the system prior to entering the leads but just in case one of them forgets is there something that we can do to prevent this? Because like I said above I just made 2 exact contacts just to test the system again and the system did not remove the 2nd contact or notify me.
