Can Act personalise your emails automatically?

I want to know whether Act can automatically personalise emails & address each recipient, e.g 'Dear XXX' or do you need to go in and address to each person individually?

For instance, if I want to email all business managers in my 'business managers' group - can I quickly write the newsletter and send to the group, without the worry of having to go in and personalise for each name?

  Yes, Act! Essentials will allow mail merge in the Emarketing templates. The mail merge will link to contact fields such as First name. Please see the link listed below for directions.
