    Is there anything I should do on a regular basis? I used to be with a company that had web ACT! and we needed to do that often.

    Nope, we back up our servers daily so you don't have to. We will send out notification if there were ever something preventing you from accessing your database.

    Brittany is correct, we have a very robust data redundancy and recovery operations for Act! Essentials. If you are using Act! Pro, Premium or Premium Cloud you'll want to look at the different data backup and recovery options there, but the Essentials product has a high availability and data recovery capability built into the service. There are third party products that can do things like sync Act! Essentials to a local instance of Act! or to another end point (like Outlook) which would provide redundant data storage. Though I haven't used it yet, CompanionLink recently announced availability of a solution that can do this.
