    Can I change the fields that are already in the contact and can I add additional fields beyond the ones in the template?

    Currently Act! Cloud only allows you to customize the 5 available fields. As this is great feedback for Act! Cloud please click the blue icon from the bottom right of the screen and add feedback or ideas you believe would be beneficial to Act! Cloud.

    Ok, one more question. Is there a way to connect contacts? For example: I have a high school senior and want to put in the parent as a separate contact and connect them. Can I do that? If so, how? This would be helpful because this same parent has other children that would one day become high school seniors and if I can put in the information as I collect it that would be helpful in years to come. I hope that makes sense!

    Hi Renee,

    The only way you would be able to connect contacts is to create groups for them. I would not necessarily recommend creating a group for each family that has multiple children as you could end up with quite a few groups.

    Thank you so much for the help. I guess I will add a parent group and make notes in there files. Are notes searchable? Say I added a note for each additional child and their grad year and high school, can I search the parent group for specific info?

    Hi Renee,

    If you search from the search bar only the fields available in Act! Cloud are searchable. If you were to make one of the 5 customizable fields Grades, Grad year or School you can search for that piece of data but not for something added in the notes.
