How do I use the email open/click tracking function in Act! 365 Pro?

This feature requires the Act! 365 Contact Link to be configured in Outlook. For information on how to configure this, please refer to this article.

To track opens; when composing a new email:

  1. Click the Act! 365 Contact Link 
  2. Toggle 'Track Opens' on
  3. Send the email

To track clicks; when composing a new email:

  1. Click the Act! 365 Contact Link
  2. Enter the URL that you'd like to track in the 'Track Clicks' section
  3. Enter the hyperlink text that you'd like to display within the email
  4. Click Insert Link
  5. Send the email

Once the email has been interacted with, tracking information should show in the 'Activities' section within the 'email' activity on the contacts record.
